My website is dedicated to any and all things movie-related. Known as the seventh art, film quickly became one of the most beloved and understood art forms, offering escape and entertainment to its viewers. Do all of you love movies for the same reasons? Which movies are your favourite/least favourite? Why? Let us know by signing up and sharing your thoughts!
In the 1800s, scientists experimented and investigated intensively in the field of the illusion of motion. Starting with inventions such as the zoetrope, praxinoscope and kinetoscope in the late 1800s, the illusion of motion was used widely in circuses and arcades as a novelty. Photography began its infancy as people experimented with thinner plates in their cameras and found ways to photograph onto more flexible materials that could roll through the camera (eventually leading to the invention of film stock as we know it). Projection also became feasible as people found ways to store globes behind rotating rolls of film to project the footage onto a large screen. Thus the medium of film was born when all these inventions came together.

My favourite movie is one I can watch again and again and it is called Labyrinth, with David Bowie.
I have many others that I enjoy, but that is my standout!
I would have loved to have been able to view your website, but there is no link to go to it, the link that says Main Website at the top of the blog page, comes back to the blogs.
Thanks for letting me know about that, will try and fix that soon.
Haven’t seen Labyrinth myself, but I’ve heard it’s a classic!
Fixed up the link now
